I have over twenty years experience of pastoral ministry in a wide variety of contexts from a small, eclectic, inner city church to larger multi staff suburban churches. For six years I walked alongside church leaders from a variety denominations through my Church Relationship role with Alpha Australia.
I'm available to supervise or mentor leaders. I'm passionate about walking alongside people and seeing them grow and flourish in God's calling. My desire is to journey with others holistically, empowering them serve God from a place of a health: mind, body and spirit.
Coming from a background of leadership in organisations and churches, I provide supervision and mentoring for church leaders, pastoral carers, educators and chaplains.
Prompted by reflection on my lived experience of loss, infertility and abuse I also studied counselling. I provide safe spaces and a calm presence for those I accompany, to unpack their thoughts and feelings and to create healthy relationships, practices and rhythms.
I value authenticity, courage, creativity, compassion and well-being. Life-giving practices and activities for me include walking in nature, knitting, movies, reading and hanging out with good friends and family.
I love to encourage healthy relationships and with Philippa have facilitated numerous relationship courses. I value integrity, learning, community and creativity. I love film, theatre and visual art and get excited about exploring the connections between art and spirituality.
